On taking photos…

I’ve never been this excited over a hobby…

It’s been four months since the first day I held my camera with my hands (thanks to my wife!!!), imagine my excitement!!!

up to this day… the feeling is still here.

I cannot see myself as a professional photographer, owning a DSLR is not a passport (needs talent, training, equipment and time, I think) so they say… and yes they are right…

I can’t even pass for an amateur or a novice at this point in time.

at any rate…i’m just an old boy behind the lens… trying…practicing…learning.

sometimes… beautiful pictures

most of the times…pictures that can hardly make an impression…

hmmp… just some thoughts.

Manila by day…

Armed with my camera, I tried to practice taking photos again…and again it’s in Manila ..this time at the Orchidarium.

Upon entering the Orchidarium, I thought, I could not find anything to take photos of…of course I was wrong… and besides there is practically no place you can’t find anything picture-worthy. Just look around and even the simplest of things can be given life by the cam…

Thinking of Boracay

Yesterday, my wife and I went to the Travel Expo at the SMX Convention Center – SM Mall of Asia. We were able to book airline tickets for our December travel…this time it’s not Boracay…

It has become a regular thing for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary in Boracay, this year will be an exception but no…not because we got tired of Boracay…it will remain my favorite place…the finest sands and the friendly hotel staff…the walking on the beach…not to mention, the food! Boracay will always be Boracay!

A few of our pictures from last December’s Boracay visit…..
