Hunger

This is an impressive movie (watched it in my laptop recently). For me this is how a movie should be, full of great images. These images may not be a product of special effects, but surely they are visual treats…

I never thought images of feces splattered on prison walls and urine on floors be interesting, but somehow in this movie, they were. I guess in the hands of a visual artist anything is possible.

It goes without saying that the movie’s strength lies not on its story or the message it tries to impart but in its ability to impress the sense of sight. Emotions were stirred not through words or dialogs but by pictures and images…that’s what a movie should do.
