The downside of a nice accommodation …

Forgive me, I’m still preoccupied by our trip last December.

The experience is indeed bitin., having to stay in Bangkok for only a day. As I said, a day would certainly be not enough. Moreso, being bilited in a nice hotel was an additional letdown. Imagine being torn between the idea of staying inside a comfortable room, sleeping and relaxing and going outside and savor the place you visited for the first time…

Truly, Oakwood – Apartments at Sukhumvit, Bangkok provided one of the best accommodations we experienced so far…topnotch customer service, clean room, comfy bed with sheets of gazillion thread counts. Given the chance to come back to Bangkok, it’s a must for us to book in this place again.

Bizu Patisserie

Last weekend we dined at Bizu Patisserie at Greenbelt 2… The experience was fine… the place was homey…the food were good… not five-star worthy but decent enough…I had issues with the freshness of the shrimp in my pasta but I was able to finish it in no time so I do not see any problem there! The price was more expensive than we expect but not too much though…

People are people…

In the more than one month of being absorbed into this blog, I tend to concentrate on posting photos…yes, forgive me I am presently absorbed in my attempt at photography – emphasis on “attempt”. Just like a crime…it has to start with an attempt. Consummation will come in time…perfection will have to wait longer…

In my desire not to make this day an “empty-posted day” for this blog… I started digging my files for pictures I took of people…of strangers.

A song says there’s comfort in one’s strangeness..and I have to agree and when one takes a photo of a stranger, the pressure of making that person look good is absent…

and one will readily agree that human beings are better subjects compared to …(let’s say)  chairs…lamps or glasses or starbucks…(Wait a minute, I took photos of chairs, lamps, glasses and starbucks!…darn me!)

so here we go!!!

BPI Credit Card…

Not a big fan of Credit cards… used to have a number of cards but I ended up dissatisfied if not totally appalled…Until BPI comes along.

Fast service…friendly customer service representatives… did  I mention fast service??? ( I requested for my rewards gift certificates, agent told me that I’ll wait for 15 days…after five days I received them …way ahead of time, indeed!)
